Good governance is the scarcest resource of the 21st century.
Around the world, states are turning actively hostile to their best and brightest. At best, states have abdicated their responsibilities. At worst, they deliberately act against the interests of their constituents.
What is Network State Magazine?
This magazine is dedicated to presenting a sincere case for exiting current systems and building new ones.
Every day, millions of people vent their frustrations online. This is occasionally cathartic, but it’s not enough. It is easy to critique. It is difficult to build something better.
We are dedicated to the latter.

Who is Network State Magazine for?
This publication is for people who already believe that Network States are good. We are for those who believe in the Enlightenment values of self-determination and freedom. We are for those who wish to steer their own lives, regardless of where they happened to be born.
For all of human history, geography and culture were nearly synonymous. No longer. Now, culture happens on the Internet. People born on opposite sides of the planet often have more in common with each other than they do with their next-door neighbors.
Network State Magazine is for people who recognize this, and are interested in joining a group of like-minded peers.
